In continuation to last year’s initiative, Social Development, Youth and Sports Ministry of Gandaki Province collaborated with Jeevan Batika Nepal to conduct an awareness program on substance abuse. In order to have a larger audience, Phedikhola Rural Municipality was chosen for this year and the workshop was conducted on 13th May, 2025 at its conference hall. The workshop was attended by Chairperson of Phedikhola Rural Municipality and its key staff, representatives from the ministry, teachers and students from different schools. It was designed to give emphasis on age vulnerability and social norms that were detrimental in fight against substance abuse, especially alcohol and marijuana.
